Oh wow, love my 16oz tumblers, one in dragons blood and one in midnight surf. Shop pictures are true to color and description, but somehow always better to see and handle in person. It’s beyond my expectations. I had my eye on the dragons blood mug for a few months and just never pulled the trigger because.. $100 mug seems frivolous in the grand scheme of life. I read (possibly imagined in a state of want desperation) that the mug I’ve been fawning over may be sold out and the style retired. Cue sad girl and lighting thumbs to find it and buy it immediately. It’s beautiful and astonishingly well made. It fits well in my hand and the packing/shipping was obviously handled with great care. It could have been shot to my house out of a cannon and still made it to me unscathed. And in the end, a repeat customer was born.

I make it a point to only buy coffee mugs from actual small studios and individual artists, never mass produced. I have mugs from all over the Americas, as well as Europe, Japan and Korea produced by small studios or individuals. I saw the Dragons Blood Cubes 20oz mug and fell in love with it.

It just arrived today and it was everything I was hoping it would be. The color is great (favorite colors), its got a nice weight to it, and I love the color changing effect that happens when you move it or turn it upside down. Out of all the pieces I have, I think it has just become my favorite.

It's one of my favorite mugs, the handle is perfect and it's just the right weight. The only drawback is I worry one of my family members will break it!
