  • Height: 3.75 inches (9.5 cm)
  • Width: 7.75 inches (20 cm)
  • Material: High-fired Porcelain

  • Dishwasher: Yes

Whether it is storing keys near the front door, catching items on your bedside table, or holding some treats for snacking, the Lidded Dome Jar is broad and low, with a generous interior that makes it genuinely useful, not just decorative. Available in multiple glazes, each fired to its own result in the gas kiln — no two exactly alike.

Every Hammerly Ceramics piece is made by Curt and his team in his home studio near Denver, Colorado. Each design begins in 3D modeling software, is printed as a physical prototype, and used to create a custom plaster mold system. The HC logo is cast into the bottom of every lidded jar. The cast pieces are then hand-cleaned, fired, glazed, and fired a final time in a computer-controlled gas kiln where the glazes come alive.

The result is high-fired, glazed porcelain: strong, non-porous, and built to last.

I love this

I love this. In Drangonblood it’s a showstopper but— really each glaze has it’s merit. It’s lovely to have a piece of art that can also keep my trinkets or sweets from being stolen by my pets. A taller one? I’d go for that too!
