The base of each mug features the year and the Hammerly Ceramics logo.

The continuous wave pattern that runs from base to rim highlights the flowing glazes where colors settle into the valleys and break across the peaks differently on every piece, so no two come out of the kiln the same.

Every Hammerly Ceramics piece is made by Curt and his team in his home studio near Denver, Colorado. Each design begins in 3D modeling software, is printed as a physical prototype, and used to create a custom plaster mold system. The HC logo is cast into the bottom of every mug alongside the year in which it was crafted. The cast pieces are then hand-cleaned, fired, glazed, and fired a final time in a computer-controlled gas kiln where the glazes come alive.

The result is high-fired, glazed porcelain: strong, non-porous, and built to last.

So beautiful!! Has a nice weight to them & keeps my coffee much warmer for much longer than standard coffee cups. Definitely in love with my mugs!

10 out of 10!! gorgeous

gorgeous. perfectly balanced in my hand. exceptional glazing. truly a work of art. my tenth (?) piece from Hammerly Ceramics and they just get better and better

So incredibly beautiful. This is my 4th mug from Hammerly and I think it's my favorite!

Love the design and customer service.

Love the design and appreciate acknowledging the defect and replacement following first order. It seems that this design may have issues arriving defect free as the replacement also had a chip in it but didn't want to reach back out. The mug functions and I still love the design and love purple. Not sure if there's a way to smooth the lines more before they are fired or what could be causing the chips.

Always great!

I own several of Curt's pieces and love them all. The research and detail he put into what he does makes for a beautiful, quality product. Thanks!

Frequency design is a hit.

I feel very fortunate to get one of the new "Frequency" mugs. The hardest part was deciding which colors to go with, I am very happy with this choice. I love following the entire process from initial idea to 3D models, and finally a very cool mold creation. Anyone who thinks a slip-cast item is cheating, they need to watch the design and mold creation.
The amount of time spent on consistent glaze layers really blows me away. I wish I had stayed awake in High School chemistry class to fully understand the magic of glazes and different kiln environments.
I was a little nervous about how the Frequency ribs would seal against my lips, but this mug works great with no leaks. I guess the glaze thickness helps. Nice job. I love my new mug.

Amazing Mug!

i got these as a gift for one of my best friends who loves mugs. she loved the weight and amazing tactile feel of the mug. such a great piece.

Hi Emily! It is tough to sell tactile, textured pieces online without customers being able to feel them before they buy, so it is always nice to get such positive feedback. Thank you for taking the time to let me know!

Mother's Day Drop

Beautiful, one of a kind mug that was expertly crafted. Only wish there were more of these uniquely colored mugs to go around.

Great colors. Love this design.

I truly love every mug I get from Hammerly Ceramics! Some people think of coffee mugs as a disposable piece of ceramic ware. Coffee can be an experience of quiet moments with yourself, savoring the entire experience the tactile feel of the mug and handle, to the outside and inside surface and the weight of the mug. Hammerly mugs are a full experience. The handles are so comfortable to hold and the colors are beautiful. This Oreo glaze is great! And another thing, the packaging and care they take to get your mug to you safe and sound it top notch, it’s an investment in your coffee journey.

Hey Vicky,

You are too kind! I appreciate the support and the kind words. Very few people have as diverse collection of my creations, spanning so many years, as you do.

Thank you for sticking with us for so long!

5 stars all the way! I have 7 mugs in my collection and look forward to adding more. Curt's customer service is second to none. Highly recommend. Do not hesitate to purchase. Thank you, Curt, for your recent efforts in resolving my issue. You are the best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hey Marcie,

You're welcome!

I still haven't gotten used to the idea that anyone would put together a collection of my mugs like that. I always hoped that would happen but I haven't gotten used to it (and I hope I never will).

Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm!
